Nigerian student killed in Cyprus, allegedly by other Nigerians (photos)

The story is a bit weird and a little confusing. According to reports from other Nigerian students in Cyrus, Ebinabo Mendeinyo (pictured left) was allegedly stabbed to death by other Nigerians in Cyrus on Dec. 26th at his student apartment. The initial story was that he jumped from the 6th floor of his apartment building out of fear when the boys came to confront him, but the Cyprus police have ruled that out after they found stab wounds on his body.

Jerry Udumioh, aka MC Jerry, a popular comedian and event host (pictured right in handcuffs) was the first person the police arrested in connection with the murder according to a LIB source.

Ebinabo is believed to have been stabbed multiple times by about six boys. They allegedly first drove to his friend's house, kidnapped him and forced him to take them to Ebi's house. They made him knock so that the victim would open the door without suspecting. When Ebi opened they door, he was allegedly stabbed and his throat slit.

The reason for the murder hasn't been made clear but a LIB source said the fight started the previous day at a Christmas party and it was over a Zimbabwean girl and some folks feeling disrespected. Someone got stabbed at the club that night, and the fight was taken to Ebi's house the following day.

Jerry has been charged with 'trespassing', kidnapping and serious assault.

Buhari says those indicted in arms deal scandal will be sent to jail

President Buhari says those who are found guilty in the $2.1 billion arms deal fraud will be sent to jail. He said this in a recent interview with BBC Hausa
  • “Remember during the campaigns, we said Nigeria is facing three things and nobody disputed that assertion. Firstly, there was widespread insecurity, a war in the north-east, while the country’s oil was being stolen at random in the south; secondly, there is massive unemployment.
  • Thirdly, bribery and corruption was basically suffocating the country. If we don’t kill these monsters, this country would go down. That is why those who stole monies meant for arms procurement and shared it among themselves are being arrested and are being shown documents so that they would be asked to refund the money or face prosecution. We would use those documents to prove what they stole, collect all the assets acquired from the proceeds and then jail them”he said
Buhari also spoke on the mutiny of soldiers during the last administration
  • “I want people to understand that after I settled down and got a good grasp of what the country was going through, we removed all the service chiefs and appointed new ones. We also undertook an investigation and found out how the monies meant for arms procurement were diverted and shared by officials in the last administration. They sent the boys to the warfront without arms and ammunition, leading some of them to mutiny after which they were arrested and detained. We have been able to raise money and fund the war. Go and ask the people of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, how many of their local governments were under the control of insurgents? And how many are currently still under the insurgents. Maybe we would not win the war completely by the end of the month, but the insurgents have now resorted to putting on explosive vests on young children, mostly girls aged 15 and below and then sending them to markets, mosques and churches to detonate. Boko Haram itself knows that the era of them taking over communities and local governments is over. If people would be fair to us, they would know that the Nigerian Army has basically met the deadline and are winning the war. You cannot find any significant number of Boko Haram members in Adamawa and Yobe, only maybe in about three local governments of Borno, in the area around our borders with Chad Republic. They are not in a position to threaten Nigeria now, so we have won”he said

Malaysia Airline flew in the wrong direction and the pilot didn't know

An investigation has been launched after a Malaysia Airlines plane took off from Auckland Airport on Christmas Day and surprised the pilot with the direction it started flying.
Just eight minutes into the direct flight to Kuala Lumpur, MH132's pilot queried why his Airbus A330 was heading so far south.

He wondered why the plane was heading towards Melbourne and not taking a more direct flight path to the Malaysian capital.
It is understood passengers on board the flight, which left at 2.23am Christmas Day, were not alerted to the mix-up.
During discussions with air traffic controllers at the Auckland Oceanic control centre, the pilot was informed of the flight plan his airline had given to Airways, which manages air traffic control for New Zealand and South Pacific.

He then continued across the Tasman Sea before heading northwest to Kuala Lumpur.
Although there were no apparent safety concerns with the confusion, Airways yesterday confirmed it was investigating.

"We have an internal safety team who will investigate it," a spokeswoman said. "The flight plan the airline filed with us was going to Kuala Lumpur but via a slightly different route than the pilot was expecting."

ISIS 'female Gestapo' kill and mutilate mum for breastfeeding

Islamic State's 'female Gestapo' mutilated and killed a mum - because she was breastfeeding her son.
The innocent mother covered her son with her burqa to hide him, but members of the Al-Khansa brigade spotted her and meted out their barbaric punishment.
Al-Khansa is a special brigade set up to enforce the terror group's strict Islamic views.
Aisha, a former resident of Raqqa in Syria who now lives in southern Turkey, told the Sunday Times: "An Isis policewoman took the baby, gave it to another woman, and then killed the mother.”
Harrowingly, pro-ISIS social media sites revealed she was mutilated before she died.
Al-Aqsa is a special brigade set up to enforce the terror group's strict Islamic views.
They bite and whip any woman who steps out of line and force girls to become sex slaves.
As many as 60 British women are thought to be members of the brigade, which operate in ISIS' self-proclaimed capital Raqqa.

The city is ruled by fear, with torture, stoning and crucifixions common.

All women are prohibited from going outside or travelling without a male relative.

ISIS imposes a strict dress code demanding all females from puberty upwards wear two gowns to hide their body shape, black gloves to cover their hands, and three veils so their faces cannot be seen, even in direct sunlight.

Women have been publicly buried alive in sand for breaking the code.
One former Syrian schoolteacher trapped in the city opened up to Channel 4 in a documentary, titled: Escape From ISIS.
She said:
"We have no freedom. We cannot go out on the balcony or look through the window. They will arrest a woman if she wears perfume or raises her voice. A woman’s voice cannot be heard."
The teacher told of her horrifying capture by the city’s ruthless all-women police unit, the Al-Khansa brigade.

"They said my eyes were visible through my veil. I was tortured. They lashed me. Now some of them punish women by biting. They give you the option between getting bitten or lashed."
